Four years in a row BEI has been voted to be one of the Best Places to Work in Washington D.C. in a survey of our staff that was run by the Washington Business Journal. The award recognizes the best workplaces and company cultures based on employee reviews, looking for companies that go beyond the norm to foster an enjoyable and meaningful work experience. We were very happy to learn that our staff feels valued by the leaders of BEI, that “Professional” was the top word used to describe our work environment, and that “Client First Mentality” really has meaning within our organization.

Reston
BEI has been named a 2019 Best of Reston Honoree. This award is given each year to organizations and individuals that have demonstrated significant contributions to the greater Reston/Herndon area through their philanthropy and volunteerism. Our volunteer efforts have included Reston schools, sports and scouting, Reston Swim Team Association, the Northern Virginia Maker Faire, Artemis House, and the Reston Planning and Zoning Committee. We also provide IT services to the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Reston Arts Center.

BEI was named as a Best of Reston finalist in 2018. Nearly three decades ago, Cornerstones and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce came together in a unique collaboration that demonstrates their mutual commitment to the guiding principles of the community established by Reston founder Robert E. Simon and a shared philosophy that the collective contributions of individuals, businesses, civic and community institutions and organizations are necessary to build and sustain thriving and enriching communities. This partnership is celebrated each year in a community awards celebration.
